IBM Researchers Named ACM Fellows

Three IBM Researchers, Kenneth Clarkson, Hamid Pirahesh, and Mark Squillante, were named 2008 ACM Fellows today, an award that recognizes the organization's top contributors to computing technology that have generated a broad range of innovations to industry, commerce, entertainment, and education. Kenneth will be honored for computational geometry, Hamid for query processing language, and Mark for work in the theory and practice of stochastic modeling, at a formal Awards Banquet this June in San Diego, CA.
